Easy Taxonomy™ allows you to create different views of a single taxonomy. A taxonomy view allows you to dynamically group subset of items based on custom categorizations, such as location, legislation, department, business unit, etc..
The custom categorization, is applied using custom metadata, called View Filters, and the values used for those metadata are called Filter Values.
To create a Taxonomy View, you should first create and apply the Taxonomy View Filters and Filter Values.

Create and Apply Taxonomy View Filters
Important notes before you start:
- Taxonomy View Filters are available only at the lowest level of the taxonomy, the menu item shows up only when a taxonomy element that is at the bottom of the hierarchy is selected, e.g. Business Process element.
- When an item is included in the taxonomy view, the above lineage of that item will be included in the view.
- Multiple View Filters can be applied to a single taxonomy item, e.g. Location = Eastern Region, Department = Human Resources.
- The same view filter with different values can be applied to a single taxonomy item, e.g. the taxonomy item is at the same time related to the Human Resources business unit and the Legal Services business unit.
Follow these steps to add a Taxonomy View Filter and its related value.
