Setup SharePoint site permissions

For a better security, the Easy Taxonomy permissions groups are created separately from the SharePoint site permission groups.

Users given access to Easy Taxonomy does not mean they have to be given access to edit site pages and site content.

Follow the steps below to improve SharePoint site security:

1- Make the SharePoint site a private site.

2- Share Read only access with the group "Everyone Except External Users" or with the groups who should be given access to at least read the Taxonomy.

3- Follow the steps in this article to grant users permissions based on their role vis-a-vis the Taxonomy: Manage User Roles.
